Cranberry Chocolate Chip Cookies

1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
3/4 cup brown sugar
2 tablespoons orange juice
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 large egg
1-1/4 cup flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup chocolate chips
1 cup dried cranberries


1. Preheat oven to 350° F. Grease two baking sheets.
2. In a large bowl, beat together the butter, sugar, orange juice and vanilla.
3. Beat in egg until combined.
4. In a second bowl, sift together flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Slowly add dry mixture into the first bowl, mixing until smooth.
5. Stir in chocolate chips and cranberries.
6. Drop cookies on baking sheets. Bake 12 to 14 minutes.
